What does a Retrofit Assessor do?
The retrofit assessment is the first step in retrofit and carries a pivotal role in delivering the UK’s net zero ambition. Their duty is to conduct an in depth field assessment of the property, collecting data and being the 'eyes' of the retrofit coordinator providing detailed information about the home to be used by the retrofit designer.
What is Retrofit Coordination?
Retrofit Coordination is mandatory on all domestic retrofit projects delivered under TrustMark and is a requirement of all government-funded schemes. (E.g. ECO,SHDF, LAD, GHG etc) Ultimately, the coordinator will ensure the project delivery is compliant to PAS standards, authorise, then lodge with Trustmark, therefore enabling the organisation to received funding for the installed measures
